Lauren Schapiro

Lauren Schapiro currently serves as the Head of Special Events at Two Sigma, a position held since April 2023. Previously, Lauren was the Senior Manager of Programs and Engagement at Bloomberg Philanthropies from January 2017 to October 2021, where over 40 global programs were developed, launched, and managed in collaboration with key partners. Prior experience includes roles at Bloomberg LP as a Team Lead overseeing a large portfolio of community and corporate events and as an Event Planner, where innovative diversity events were launched and social media integration was introduced. Lauren's earlier roles also include Director of Distinguished Events at the American Cancer Society and Manager of Programs and Special Events at Teach For America. Lauren earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Delaware.
