Pranav Mistry

Pranav Mistry is the current CEO of TWO and was previously the Head of Innovation at Samsung Mobile from November 2017 to October 2019. Prior to that, they were the President and CEO of STAR Labs at Samsung Electronics from May 2012 to June 2021. Pranav has also worked as a visiting researcher at the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) from November 2009 to January 2010, and as a researcher at CMU, Google, NASA, UNESCO from July 2007 to September 2007.

Mistry’s research interests include AR, robotics, and human-computer interaction. Pranav has published several papers on these topics, including “SixthSense: A Wearable Gestural Interface” and “Towards Memristor-based Computing Systems”. Pranav received their PhD in Media Arts and Sciences from the MIT Media Lab in 2012.

Pranav Mistry has a PhD in Media Arts and Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MS in Media Arts and Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a MDes in Design from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, a BE in Computer Science and Engineering from Gujarat University, a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from CEPT University, and a degree from Vidyamandir.
