Juhani Katajisto

Juhani Katajisto has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Starting in 2006, they worked as a Trainee/Part-time Assistant at Fortum, where they gained experience with Basware Invoice Processing and Matching, as well as Oracle E-Business Suite's GL-module. Juhani then moved on to the Finnish Defence Forces, serving as Finnish Military Conscription from 2007 to 2008.

In 2008, Juhani joined Neste Oil as a System Administrator, initially focusing on Basware applications and later transitioning to Oracle E-Business Suite ERP. Juhani was responsible for software administration, SQL reports, app roll-outs, and ensuring software availability worldwide.

From 2010 to 2017, Juhani worked at Basware as a Senior Solution Consultant, where they were involved in all stages of product deployment, from planning to technical installation and customization. Juhani primarily worked with Basware's cloud-powered technologies, including Alusta (Invoice and Purchase), Basware Invoice Processing, and Basware Purchase Management.

In 2017, Juhani moved to Visma Finland as a Senior Consultant in Business Intelligence. Their role involved providing expertise and support in developing and implementing Business Intelligence solutions.

Currently, Juhani is working as a Senior Consultant in Data & Analytics at twoday Finland. Their responsibilities include pre-sales, leading the creation of Business Intelligence solutions, and managing teams of developers for customer projects. Juhani primarily works with the Microsoft BI stack, including Synapse, MS SQL, T-SQL, SMSS, Data Factory, SSIS, Power BI, PS, and related Azure tools.

Throughout their career, Juhani has demonstrated expertise in various data analytics and business intelligence tools, and has worked extensively with different technologies and software systems.

Juhani Katajisto attended Helmi Business College from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a degree in Datanomi. During the same time period, they also attended Koillis-Helsingin Lukio and obtained a Ylioppilas degree. In April 2023, Juhani Katajisto obtained a SnowPro Core Certification from Snowflake.
