Liz Askew

Liz Askew currently serves as Team Leader for Birds, Herptiles, and Invertebrates at Twycross Zoo, a position held since September 2022, where Liz also previously held the role of Deputy Team Leader. Prior experience includes working as an Animal Keeper at Bristol Zoological Society and Longleat, focusing on large hoofstock and carnivores. Liz has held various positions in animal care and management roles at notable organizations such as Paultons Park, The New Forest Wildlife Park, and Marwell Wildlife. Liz has a solid foundation in animal management, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Management from Sparsholt College Hampshire and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences from the University of Portsmouth, both completed between 2012 and 2015.
