Twycross Zoo
Lloyd Antrobus is an experienced Great Ape Keeper at Twycross Zoo since September 2021, managing species such as chimpanzees. Additionally, Lloyd has contributed to the BBC as a Broadcast Contributor since January 2012, delivering engaging content on various topics related to animal welfare and conservation. Prior roles include a One-Year Animal Husbandry Intern at Chester Zoo, an Animal Care Intern at Memphis Zoo, and a Great Ape Welfare Intern at Milwaukee County Zoo. Lloyd's background also features public safety dispatching at St. Olaf College and contributions to non-profit organizations like SASOD. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Race and Ethnic Studies/Environmental Studies from St. Olaf College and ongoing studies in Conservation Biology through Semester at Sea at the University of Virginia.
