Karole Verlage Frei

Karole Verlage Frei has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Karole started their career at Swiss Re as an International Graduate Programme Associate in 1999. Karole then worked at Reuters A.G. as a Client Training Coordinator while pursuing their master's studies. After that, they joined Hewlett-Packard (HP) as a New Product Introduction Manager & Marketing Communications in the StorageWorks Division.

In 2006, Karole moved to UBS, where they held the positions of Due Diligence Officer in the Americas Division and Business Manager in the Mexican Market Private Banking UHNWI and HNWI clients. Karole then joined Clariden Leu as the Head of a Task Force in Client Due Diligence for the Latin America & Iberia Division.

Karole's next significant role was at Credit Suisse, where they held multiple positions, including Project and Risk Communications Manager for Global and Divisional Initiatives, Group Brand Senior Content Manager and Editor in Global Marketing and Brand Communication, and finally Group Senior Business Communications Manager.

Currently, Karole works at TX Group AG as the Head of Group Brand and External Communications, a role they started in January 2023.

Karole Verlage Frei completed their Executive Education in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia at Columbia Business School in the year 2020. In 2018, they pursued Project Management Professional Education at PMI Institute. Earlier, from 2002 to 2005, they obtained a Master's degree in Management and Economics from the University of Zurich. In 2002, Karole completed Intensive German classes and finalized them with a Goethe proficiency exam "C1" at Language Studies International. Prior to their Master's, they earned a Bachelor's degree in International Business from Texas McCombs School of Business in the period 1994-1998. Additionally, in 1997, they participated in an Exchange Semester for International Business at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Karole began their education at James "Nikki" Rowe High School in McAllen, TX and completed their High School education from 1990 to 1994.
