Simon Maurer

Simon Maurer has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Simon worked at TX Group AG from 2016, where they held the position of Group CIO and Head of Development & Projects Group Operations. Simon also served as the Managing Director at TX Services since 2019. Prior to this, Simon worked as a Lecturer in higher education institutions and as a Partner at Karlen-Consulting AG. Simon was also the Co-Founder of Nordwand - Active Wear and held positions at Viasuisse AG, Tamedia, Espace Media AG, BTM Medien Gruppe, and worked as a Freelance IT Project Manager and Consultant.

Simon Maurer has a diverse education history. In 1989, they obtained a degree in Graphic Design and Typography from the Schule für Gestaltung Bern und Biel. Simon then pursued a Dipl. Informatiker degree in Wirtschaftsinformatik, Business Engineering from WISS Schulen für Wirtschaft Informatik Immobilien from 2003 to 2005. In 2001, they also completed a degree in Informatik-Projektleiter FA, specializing in Project Management, Wirtschaftsinformatik, and Business Engineering from the same institution. Simon furthered their education with an Executive MBA FH degree in Business Engineering and General Management from Private Hochschule Wirtschaft PHW Bern, completed between 2008 and 2010. Recently, in 2018, they participated in the Digital Leadership Program at HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich. Simon has also obtained several certifications, including being a Certified BPMN 2.0 Professional, a Certified ITIL® Expert, a Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering IREB, a Certified Scrum Master CSM, and having completed the TOGAF Foundation course.
