Edson Michaque

Edson Michaque has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Edson is currently working as a Software Engineer at Tyk since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Thunes as a Software Engineer, focusing on solution delivery, from November 2021 to April 2023. Edson also worked at Vodacom Mozambique as a Specialist in System Backend Development from January 2021 to November 2021. Edson also held the position of Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Vodacom Mozambique from September 2020 to December 2020.

Before joining Vodacom Mozambique, Edson was the Co-Founder and Lead Software Developer at paymentsds from August 2020 to May 2021. Edson also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Faculdade de Engenharia - Universidade Eduardo Mondlane from February 2018 to December 2020. Additionally, Edson gained experience as a Software Developer at e-BAú - Ministry of Industry and Trade from February 2018 to August 2020.

Prior to that, they worked as a Software Developer at Olenvo from January 2017 to January 2018. Edson also gained internship experience as an Analyst at Deloitte & Touche (Moçambique) Lda from October 2017 to December 2017. Edson started their career as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant in Compilers at Faculdade de Engenharia - Universidade Eduardo Mondlane from February 2017 to July 2017.

Edson Michaque attended Universidade Eduardo Mondlane from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Licenciatura degree in Engenharia Informática (Computer Engineering). In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications in the field of cloud computing and Kubernetes administration. In July 2021, they became an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and an AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate through the Amazon Web Services (AWS) institution. Edson also earned the CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator and CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer certifications from The Linux Foundation in July 2021. Prior to these, they achieved the AWS Certified Developer - Associate and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certifications in May 2021, also through AWS.
