Silas Deane

Silas Deane currently serves as the Vice President for Courts and Justice at Tyler Technologies, a position held since September 2021. Prior to this role, Silas was the President and CEO of VendEngine, a cloud-based technology solutions company for the corrections industry, from August 2011 until its acquisition by Tyler Technologies in September 2021. Silas founded DEANE | SMITH, a top PR and Marketing Strategy firm in Tennessee, serving as Chairman & CEO until its sale in 2015. Additionally, Silas has extensive experience in media and communications, having founded Logic Media Group and led initiatives for organizations such as the International Microelectronics Society and the U.S. House of Representatives. Silas holds a Master's degree in Government Administration from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Kentucky.
