Mark Chacon has extensive work experience in the field of enterprise IT and cyber. Mark is currently serving as the Director of Enterprise IT & Cyber at Tyto Athene, LLC since January 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as the Associate Director of Enterprise IT & Cyber at the same company from April 2021 to January 2022.
Before joining Tyto Athene, Mark was associated with AT&T for a significant period of time starting from April 2005. Mark has also served as a member of the All-Armed Forces Rugby Team in the United States Department of Defense from May 2002 to December 2002. Additionally, Mark worked as a Telecommunications Crew Chief in the Texas Air National Guard from August 1998 to December 2002 and was a member of the All-Air Force Rugby Team in the United States Air Force from September 1998 to September 2002.
Prior to their military service, Mark worked as a Telecommunications Crew Chief in the US Air Force from 1994 to 1998. In this role, they installed, maintained, and administered telecommunication systems and computer networks, and also troubleshooted tactical telecommunication equipment.
Mark Chacon has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Computer Information Systems from West Texas A&M University, which they obtained from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management/Computer Information Systems from Park University from 2001 to 2006. Mark also holds additional certifications in Strategic Thinking and Business Analysis Foundations from LinkedIn, although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
