Octavio Novoa

Octavio Novoa has extensive work experience in the field of Information Technology. Octavio started their career at IBM as a Services Coordinator, where they worked for five years. Octavio then joined AT&T Global Network Services as a Services Coordinator, responsible for internet and networking services for customers in Peru and Bolivia.

After that, Octavio worked at Americatel Perú S.A, a telecommunications company in Peru. Octavio held various roles in the company, including ISP Administrator, Information Security Officer, Data Management and ISP, and later as an IT Manager. Octavio was responsible for transitioning the ERP system to SAP, saving the company significant expenses. Octavio also implemented MPLS services and led technological projects for the company.

Octavio then worked at Textil del Valle as an IT Manager, overseeing a team of 30 and managing infrastructure software development and helpdesk operations. Octavio also implemented IT processes for various functions of the company.

Octavio then joined Karoon Gas as an IT Manager, where they conceptualized and implemented a data center and connected all offices using Office 365. Octavio also aligned the IT strategy with the business needs.

Before their current role, Octavio worked at Quanta Services, Inc. as the Director of Information Technology for LATAM, where they planned, supervised, and budgeted all IT operations for the Latin American region. Octavio managed software and hardware implementation in seven regions, ensuring cost-effective infrastructure development and support contracts.

Currently, Octavio is the Director of Information Technology at Tzadik Management, where they strategize and executes IT operations, manages the property management software and outsourced helpdesk. Octavio also oversees IT operations for rent collection, cyber security, and communications.

Octavio Novoa completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration from Universidad de Piura in 2007. Prior to that, they earned a degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad de San Martín de Porres, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. In terms of certifications, Octavio obtained various certifications from LinkedIn, including Learning Design Thinking in September 2023, Notary Public Commission in September 2022, What Is Scrum? in September 2022, Microsoft Azure: Architecting Azure Infrastructure in October 2019, Digital Transformation, SAP ERP Essential Training, and Strategic Thinking in February 2019. Their secondary education took place at Colegio San Agustin - Chiclayo from 1980 to 1990, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned.
