Solomon Tesfaye

Solomon Tesfaye has a diverse work experience history, starting in 2007 as a Co-Founder of StingyCampus.com, LLC, where they created a student-only online community. From 2009 to 2013, they worked at Edwards Lifesciences, starting as a Quality Analyst and later becoming a Technical Supervisor in Quality Operations. In 2013, they transitioned to venture capital as a Venture Capitalist at Kapor Capital and also served as a Mentor Fellow at Cornell eLab Accelerator. In 2014, they worked as an Investment Banking Summer Associate at Citi, and from 2015 to 2019, they worked as an Investment Banker at Citi. Since 2019, they have been with tZERO Group, Inc., where they have held various roles, including Director, Vice President, and currently Head of Business Development and Capital Markets.

Solomon Tesfaye has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Investment Banking from the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management. Solomon also completed a Semester Abroad Program at Esade as part of their MBA studies. Prior to their MBA, Solomon earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biological Sciences from UC Irvine. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Series 24, Series 63, and Series 79 from FINRA.
