Tom Prefling

Tom Prefling has extensive experience in communication and audiovisual production, currently serving as the Director of U-Haul University and the Director of Internal Communications at U-Haul International, Inc. since December 1997. Prior to this, Tom held the position of Section Head for Visual Communications at Mayo Clinic Scottsdale from April 1996 to December 1997 and directed audiovisual production at U-Haul International, Inc. from August 1993 to April 1996. Earlier in the career, Tom was the Director of Video Services at Samaritan Health Services from 1983 to 1991. Tom holds a Master’s degree in Film Education from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Arizona. Education culminated in a high school diploma from Catalina High School in Tucson.
