Guido Corno is a seasoned climate change expert with extensive experience in advising and implementing climate adaptation strategies across various international organizations, including USAID, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and the European Union. Currently serving as a Senior Climate Advisor at USAID since May 2023, Guido Corno provides technical support for climate change initiatives in sub-Saharan Africa and leads research projects on climate adaptation. Previous roles include Senior Advisor at Expertise France and Senior Climate Change Expert for the European Union, where Guido Corno managed significant climate resilience programs and stakeholder consultations. With a Ph.D. in Climate Change and Natural Resource Management from Oregon State University, Guido Corno has played a pivotal role in developing and implementing climate strategies globally, enhancing institutional capacities, and fostering partnerships for climate finance and policy initiatives.
