Don Dotson

Don Dotson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and cybersecurity. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer for the United States Air Force since February 2019, Don leads cybersecurity initiatives and holds DoD ICD 705 certification while standardizing HVAC, Lighting, Fire Alarm, and Energy systems for integration into the Siemens Desigo CC platform. Previous roles include Lead Instructor for the Equipment Reliability Suite Implementation Project at APC in 2015, Engineering Supervisor at SCANA from 2012 to 2015, Program Engineer for WBN Augmented Staff, and Senior Component Design Engineer at Progress Energy. Don began a career in engineering as a System Engineer at Tennessee Valley Authority from 1995 to 2008, after earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Thermal Science from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
