Jon Hofius has extensive experience in engineering and leadership roles within the fields of robotics and medical systems. Currently serving as a Pararescue Specialist in the United States Air Force since September 2015, Jon previously held the position of Program Director at Cordance Medical from February 2022 to March 2024. With a strong foundation in research and development, Jon worked as the Associate R&D Director at SRI International, focusing on technical contributions across various projects and evaluating commercialization potential. Jon's early career includes significant roles such as MISTRAL Pediatric Surgery Engineering Fellow at Stanford University School of Medicine, where collaboration with Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital aimed to innovate pediatric surgical technologies. Additional experience as a Consulting Engineer/Designer at ExploraMed Development and several engineering positions at Stanford University and Agilent Technologies further highlight Jon's expertise, bolstered by a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
