Gelu Sherpa

Gelu Sherpa, CISA, CSM, currently serves as the Vice President - Technology Auditor at U.S. Bank, where responsibilities include leading audit technology efforts for the conversion of Union Bank. Previously, Sherpa held the position of Information Technology Audit Manager at USAA, overseeing complex audit engagements and advisory activities. At AIG, Sherpa served as Technology Audit Manager, focusing on risk analysis, the development of audit plans, and assessing control effectiveness. Early career experiences include positions at the New York City Department of Environmental Protection and Champion Pain Care Corp, along with significant contributions as a Senior Team Coordinator at Level Tech Consulting. Gelu Sherpa holds a Master's degree in Information Systems from Pace University and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Economics from Brigham Young University–Hawaii.
