Jeff Kowalsky

Jeff Kowalsky, CFA, serves as the Head of Investment Portfolio, Funding, Derivatives, and Balance Sheet Market Execution at U.S. Bank since July 2021. Previously, Kowalsky held various leadership roles at HSBC from June 2004 to July 2021, including Head of Investment Portfolio for Markets Treasury and Senior Vice President of Balance Sheet Management. Responsibilities encompassed managing structural interest rate and liquidity risks while overseeing a $50 billion investment portfolio, achieving consistent revenue generation, and enhancing asset allocation strategies. Kowalsky's early career included a position as Portfolio Manager at Freddie Mac, focusing on duration management and funding activities. An alumnus of James Madison University, Kowalsky holds a BBA in Finance.
