Shane Kibble

Shane Kibble is an accomplished design leader with extensive expertise in design systems and user experience across notable organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Design - Design Systems at U.S. Bank since January 2022, Shane successfully led the launch of the Shield Design System, impacting over 450 designers and 1,500 developers while generating significant cost savings. Previous roles include Director of Product Design at Rakuten Rewards, where Shane built and implemented the Radiant Design System, and Principal UX Designer at Google, focusing on the Admin Console Design System. With additional experience at companies such as Interconnect Design, realtor.com, and Intel Corporation, Shane has demonstrated a strong ability to enhance product design and user experience through strategic leadership and innovative solutions. Shane holds a degree in Industrial Design from San Jose State University.
