Walter J. Barys III

Walter J. Barys III is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in global network management and custody consulting. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Global Network Management in WCIB Operations at U.S. Bank since March 2017, Barys previously held the role of Vice President at Northern Trust Corporation, where responsibilities included managing sub-custodian relationships in the Western Hemisphere and providing custody consulting services. Earlier career experience includes a position as Associate Network Manager for the Asia Pacific region at Brown Brothers Harriman, where Barys contributed to establishing the Asia Network Management team. Barys holds a BA in Economics with a minor in Philosophy from the College of the Holy Cross and an MBA in International Business from Suffolk University.
