Kellie Szabo

Kellie Szabo possesses a strong background in communications and media relations, with extensive experience in both nonprofit and corporate sectors. Currently serving as an Internship Nonprofit at A Special Place for Veterans since July 2021, Kellie has also held the position of Director of Media Relations at U.S. Cellular since 2007, where responsibilities include creating strategic communications to enhance corporate reputation and influence regulatory outcomes. Prior experience includes serving as Director of External Communications at Exelon/ComEd from 1998 to 2006, focusing on strategic communications and marketing programs to promote the company's mission. Kellie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from Michigan State University.
