Abraham Cheung is an experienced researcher and data science intern currently engaged with UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs and San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG). As a Graduate Student Researcher, Abraham focuses on the intersection of politics and health policymaking under Professor Mark Peterson and has developed a literature review on the subject. Concurrently, as a Data Science Intern, Abraham employs SQL and R to analyze survey data pertaining to San Diego households, transportation, and economic characteristics. Prior roles include Teaching Assistant at UCLA, where Abraham instructed students in experimental research methods, and Program Assistant at UC San Diego, where Abraham advised student leaders on event planning and supervised media interns. Abraham holds a Master of Public Policy from UCLA and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from UC San Diego.
