Wills Hougland

Wills Hougland is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in system engineering and chemical incident investigation. Since March 2021, Wills has been a System Engineer at Sandia National Laboratories, while also serving as a Chemical Incident Investigator for the United States Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board since January 2015. Previous roles include chemical incident investigation at American Innovations, and as a Test Engineer at Empirical Testing Corp., where responsibilities included managing multiple projects, drafting technical reports for the FDA, and conducting data analysis. Additional experience includes a manufacturing engineer role at Intrex Aerospace, an engineering internship at Wild Goose Engineering LLC, and a lead designer internship at Evolve Biosciences. Wills earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
