Daniel Payne

Daniel Payne is a seasoned professional in maritime security and emergency management, currently serving as a Port Security Specialist for the U.S. Coast Guard since September 2019. Over a significant career, Payne has held various leadership roles, including Ice Management Lead for Shell Exploration & Production Company, where management of ice management operations in the Arctic and authorship of comprehensive drilling and ice management plans were notable achievements. In previous U.S. Coast Guard positions, Payne directed extensive personnel and resources in waterways management and enforcement, contributing to the safe transportation of significant commerce across numerous rivers and lakes.
