David Ireland

Dave Ireland has extensive experience in information technology and cybersecurity, with a career at the USDA beginning in March 1989. Currently serving as the Deputy Director of the Enterprise Hosting Services Division, Ireland has held various significant positions, including Information Systems Security Manager and Director of the Security Division at the National Information Technology Center. Additional roles include Data Center Consolidation Program Manager and Senior Advisor to the Associate CIO. Prior to USDA, Ireland worked at the United States Postal Service as a Computer Systems Programmer. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Washburn University, Ireland has demonstrated expertise in systems engineering, network services, and security governance throughout a successful career.
