Diana M. Wahler

Diana M. Wahler is a Management and Program Analyst at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) since September 2023, leading efforts in Energy & Environmental Justice and Equity for the Office of Environmental Management, focusing on community capacity building and intergovernmental stakeholder engagement. Prior to this role, Diana served at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from December 2014 to October 2023, co-leading international human rights treaties and managing the Technical Assistance Services for Communities (TASC) program. Diana also held positions at FEMA as an Environmental Compliance Reviewer, and worked with the Peace Corps as a Rural Aquaculture Promotion Agent, providing training and mentorship to farmers. Early career experience includes research and analysis at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Diana holds a Bachelor's degree in Global Justice & Policy, Africana Studies, and Gender Studies from James Madison University.
