Jeremy Mears

Jeremy Mears is an experienced professional currently serving as the Group Chief at the U.S. Department of the Treasury since October 2020. Previously, Jeremy held the position of Vice President of Business Development at Sovereign Intelligence from February 2019 to August 2020. Jeremy's extensive background includes a significant tenure at the Central Intelligence Agency from October 2004 to February 2019 as a Branch Manager within the Directorate of Analysis, where responsibilities involved managing a team that provided all-source intelligence analysis on sanctions and illicit finance across various regions. Earlier career experience includes roles as a Senior Analyst at Ernst & Young, conducting banking operations and forensic accounting in Europe, and as an Analyst at Arthur Andersen & Co. with a focus on risk consulting in major financial institutions. Jeremy holds a Master's degree in Global Finance, Trade, and Economic Integration from the University of Denver and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of California, Davis.
