Alana Gallagher

Alana Gallagher, M.S., is a psychology intern at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, where involvement includes full-time and supplemental practicum training at the Substance Use and PTSD Clinic. Additional roles include serving as a student assessor in a research study on improving older veterans' stress management at the Sierra Pacific Mental Illness Research Education and Clinical Centers. Alana is also a research assistant at Palo Alto University in the Trauma and Personality Studies Lab. Previous experience encompasses positions as a psychometrist trainee at Alta Mira Recovery Programs and student therapist at SAVE and The Gronowski Center. Earlier roles featured research assistant positions at Hartford Hospital and Eastern Connecticut State University. Alana is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology at Palo Alto University, with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Eastern Connecticut State University.
