Brian Kraemer

Brian Kraemer currently serves as the Associate Director for Research at the Geriatrics Research Education and Clinical Center within the Department of Veterans Affairs, a position held since January 2016, focusing on animal models of neurodegenerative diseases caused by protein aggregation. In addition, Brian has been an Investigator at SIBCR since 2007 and worked as a Research Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington from January 2007 to June 2013. Brian holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earned in 2000, and a BS in Biochemistry from Western Washington University, completed in 1994.
