Chand A. Tahilramani

Chand A. Tahilramani, MS, FACHE, currently serves as Chief of HTM at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since November 2023. Prior to this role, Chand was the Site Supervisor at New York Presbyterian - Hudson Valley Hospital, where responsibilities included building an in-house Biomedical Engineering department in alignment with Columbia and Weill Cornell standards. Chand’s extensive experience at Westchester Medical Center (November 2006 - February 2019) involved strategic planning, process improvement in the operating room, and the management of various technology portfolios. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation Engineering from VESIT.
