Claire Dede Avery

Claire Dede Avery, PhD, is a Clinical Psychologist currently serving at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since June 2023. Prior to this role, Claire held various positions, including Senior Licensed Psychologist at Florida State Hospital from April 2019 to May 2023, and Forensic Evaluator for both the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities and Florida State Hospital between 2016 and 2014. Academic contributions include serving as Chair of the Division of Counseling & Psychology and Assistant Professor of Psychology at Thomas University from 2009 to 2016.
