Daniel Ramirez

Daniel Ramirez, PA-C, is an experienced emergency medicine physician assistant currently working at Dartmouth Health since July 2021 and serving as the Assistant Director of the Emergency Department at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Previous roles include a fellowship in emergency medicine at Northwell Health and significant experience as a Senior Ocean Lifeguard in Long Beach, New York, where responsibilities included overseeing operations and educating children on water safety. Daniel's education includes a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies from Franklin Pierce University and a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and Applied Physiology from the University of Delaware, along with completion of an Emergency Medicine Fellowship at Staten Island University Hospital. Additional roles have included positions as a group exercise instructor, lead trainer, EMT, physical therapist aide, and assistant mechanic.
