Dexter Burnam

Dexter Burnam, MPM, currently serves as the Executive Director of the Center for Enterprise Human Resources at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since February 2024. Previously, Dexter held the position of Chief Special Project Management Oversight and Senior Director of the Human Capital Technology Office at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority from March 2022 to February 2024, providing executive oversight over various human capital initiatives. Dexter's extensive experience includes roles at the United States Department of Defense, where responsibilities encompassed directing the Enterprise Solutions and Integration Division and overseeing information systems. Additional experience includes serving as Senior IT Project Manager at Abacus Technology and a Senior Business Systems Analyst at SAIC. Dexter holds multiple master's degrees in Management Information Systems and Information Technology Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management and a degree in Human Resource Technical Management from DeVry University.
