Jennifer Mitchell

Jennifer Mitchell is a highly accomplished academic and healthcare leader with extensive experience in neurology and research. Since September 2004, Jennifer has been serving as a Professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of California, San Francisco, and has held the position of Associate Professor. In addition to this role, Jennifer has been the Deputy Associate Chief of Staff for Research and Development at the San Francisco VA Medical Center since January 2020. Furthermore, Jennifer contributes to the community as a member of the Board of Directors for YWCA Berkeley/Oakland since September 2018. Jennifer holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Neuroscience from the University of California, San Francisco, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Reed College.
