Keren Lowenstein

Keren Lowenstein, DSW, MPA, LCSW, currently serves as the LGBT Veteran Care Coordinator and Senior Social Worker at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, with additional roles as a VISN-16 PCMHI Co-Trainer and PCMHI Senior Social Worker since January 2022. Keren is also a CARF Surveyor for CARF International since May 2022 and acts as a contracted grant reviewer for the Indian Health Service and the U.S. Department of Education, as well as for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) since April 2019. Prior experience includes serving as the Recovery Up Project Director and interim supervisor for various programs at Ozark Center from 2017 to 2022. Keren earned a Doctorate in Social Work focused on Innovation, Leadership, & Management, and the Grand Challenge to End Homelessness from the University of Southern California in 2019.
