Melissa Rondon

Melissa Rondon is an experienced interior designer currently serving as an Interior Designer at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since May 2023. As the Founder and Principal Designer of MJ Studio since September 2020, Melissa operates a full-service interior design firm focused on helping busy professionals achieve a life/work balance that enhances their living spaces. Previously, as Project Director at Freemodel, Melissa provided design and project management support aimed at maximizing sales prices through pre-sale renovations. Additional roles include Interior Designer at JY Design Interiors, Fabric Showroom Manager and Sales at Designers Resource Collection, Showroom Manager at The Studio at DRC, Intern at bluemotif architecture, and Design Associate at La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries, where a significant sales achievement was noted. Melissa's career began with active duty in the US Navy, where organizational skills were honed. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the Design Institute of San Diego, earned between 2014 and 2018.
