Rich Hightower

Rich Hightower is an experienced nursing professional currently serving as the Office of Community Care Consult RN and Nurse Manager for the Veterans Administration since January 2019. Hightower is a founding member of the WGU South Region Distinguished Alumni Council and previously held leadership roles as President of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and Chief Nursing Officer at DHHS/ASPR/NDMS/AR-1DMAT. With a diverse background that includes positions in emergency management, nursing education, and clinical nursing, Hightower has contributed significantly to healthcare and community service. Hightower's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Nursing Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Western Governors University, alongside an Associate's degree from the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith.
