Alexander de Keyserling is an experienced industry economist currently analyzing petroleum and liquid fuel markets at the U.S. Energy Information Administration since 2021. Concurrently, Alexander serves as a teaching assistant at The Wharton School and previously at The Johns Hopkins University - SAIS, where over 300 executive and MA candidates were tutored in international financial markets. Prior to these roles, Alexander worked as a research analyst at the International Monetary Fund, focusing on economic growth in the Middle East. Experience also includes advising Fortune 500 clients as a senior research analyst at Gartner and managing translation projects at Welocalize. Alexander holds a Master of Arts in International Economics and International Relations from Johns Hopkins and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Boston College, complemented by studies in Japanese, environmental studies, and various other international programs.
