Lauren Farkas

Lauren Farkas has a diverse range of work experience. Lauren is currently employed as the Associate Director of Market Transformation & Development at USGBC Colorado since October 2023. Before this, they worked at BranchPattern from January 2020 to November 2022, where they held various roles including Project Manager, Client Relationship Manager, and Business Development. Lauren also served as the SMPS Program Chair and a Board Member at SMPS Colorado from September 2021 to September 2023. Prior to that, Lauren worked at The Alliance Center as a Programs Assistant for the Best for Colorado program from April 2019 to January 2020. Lauren also had a Sales Associate role at WEEKENDS Boulder from July 2017 to March 2019. Additionally, they were an Email & Social Media Marketing Intern at EarthHero from January 2018 to June 2018. Lauren's early work experience includes leadership positions at Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women, where they were the Vice President of Administration from January 2015 to December 2016 and the Leadership Nominating Committee Chair from August 2014 to December 2014.

Lauren Farkas has a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado Boulder, which they obtained from 2014 to 2018. In 2017, they studied Sustainable Development in Northern Europe as part of a study abroad program at DIS.
