Ramanan Pitchumani

Ramanan Pitchumani has a range of work experience in various roles and companies. Ramanan began working in the industry as an Industrial Post Doc at Dow Chemical in 2004, where they stayed until 2005. Following that, they joined the University of Houston as a Post Doc, conducting research until 2009. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Research Assistant Professor at the same university, before becoming an Assistant Professor and Laboratory Director from 2010 to 2013. Pitchumani then joined Covia in 2013 as a Scientist and stayed with the company until 2018. Currently, they are working as a Senior Technology Product Developer at U.S. Silica Company.

Ramanan Pitchumani has an extensive education history in the field of engineering. Ramanan completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Financial Engineering from WorldQuant University between 2019 and 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Particle Technology from Delft University of Technology between 1999 and 2003. Ramanan also earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the same university from 1998 to 1999. Ramanan Pitchumani's undergraduate education was at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, where they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) degree in Chemical Engineering from 1994 to 1998. Ramanan'shigh school education was completed at Delhi Public School - R. K. Puram, where they studied Science from 1979 to 1993. In addition to their academic degrees, Ramanan Pitchumani holds a certification in Master of Science in Financial Engineering from WorldQuant University, which they obtained in February 2021.
