Jen Baron

Jen Baron is a Graduate Research Assistant and Sessional Instructor at The University of British Columbia's Faculty of Forestry, where responsibilities include teaching Landscape Ecology and Management in the Masters of Geomatics and Environmental Management program. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Research Technician at Western University, focusing on tree growth responses to climate change, and conducting research as an NSERC-USRA Researcher at the Laboratory for Stable Isotope Science. Earlier in the career, Jen held a Research Assistant position at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. Jen holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Forestry from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor’s Degree in Honors Specialization Environmental Science from Western University.
