Jignashu Parikh is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in engineering and product development. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering for the Uber (Rider) App since June 2024, Jignashu leads a full-stack team focused on enhancing user experiences. Prior to Uber, Jignashu held the position of Director of Engineering for Content Experiences at Snap Inc. from January 2022 to June 2024, overseeing product engineering for user and creator experiences. Jignashu's earlier roles include Director of Engineering for YouTube TV (July 2016 - January 2022) and several key positions at Google, where responsibilities ranged from building Google Photos Search to managing mobile search ads and mobile search projects. Jignashu began a career at Yahoo! as a Research Manager, focusing on user behavior analysis and image search relevance. Jignashu holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Science and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Dharmsinh Desai University.
