Wolfgang Gentzsch

Wolfgang Gentzsch is the president and co-founder of UberCloud. Wolfgang has also served as conference chairman for the International ISC Cloud & Big Data Conference Series, adjunct professor at Duke University, and senior director of grid computing at Sun Microsystems. In addition, Gentzsch has been a visiting scientist at RENCI Renaissance Computing Institute at UNC Chapel Hill and chairman of the German D-Grid Initiative.

Wolfgang Gentzsch earned their master's degree in mathematics, physics, and computer sciences from RWTH Aachen University. Wolfgang went on to earn their doctor of philosophy (PhD) in applied mathematics from Technische Universität Darmstadt.
