Sean McKean

Sean McKean has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and industries. Sean started their career in 2012 at Coast Hotels, where they held various leadership roles, including Assistant General Manager and Hotel Accounts Payable Clerk. During their time at Coast Hotels, they demonstrated their ability to manage staff, build customer relationships, and contribute to the rebranding of three locations.

In 2014, Sean joined Hootsuite Media Inc. as an Enterprise Development Representative. Sean supported partners across North America in their digital and marketing efforts and consistently exceeded quota. Due to their proven success and problem-solving abilities, they were handpicked to trailblaze multiple new territories.

Sean then advanced to the role of Enterprise Field Account Executive at Hootsuite, where they partnered with clients to drive business value through SaaS platforms and digital strategies. Sean excelled in understanding clients' unique needs and developed collaborative solutions to meet their goals.

In 2018, Sean moved to Top Hat as the Ivey Partnership Lead and Active Learning Account Executive. Sean played a crucial role in promoting Top Hat's teaching platform, engaging with students, instructors, and institutions worldwide. Sean'scontribution helped Top Hat gain recognition and popularity among millions of users.

Recently, Sean joined Uberflip as an Account Director. Uberflip is a leading Content Experience Platform, empowering marketing and sales teams to create personalized content experiences. Sean's role involves engaging with accounts, nurturing prospects, and converting leads.

Sean McKean earned a Diploma in Accounting from UBC Sauder School of Business in 2011-2012. Prior to that, they studied Hospitality Administration/Management and completed a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree at the University of Guelph from 2003-2009.
