Gustavo Suarez has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Gustavo is currently serving as the Director of Electrical Engineering at Ubicquia since January 2021. Prior to this, Gustavo worked at Jabil from November 2013 to present, where they held the role title of System Architect in the R&D Global Design Engineering division. Gustavo also has a significant work history at Motorola Mobility, starting from December 1999 to August 2007. During this time, they held multiple roles, including Sr. Engineering Manager, 3GSM HW Development, and Engineering Manager. In these positions, they managed hardware development teams and led the successful launch of several innovative 3G handsets. Gustavo collaborated with cross-functional teams to meet scheduled launches, overseeing product definition, feasibility studies, resource planning, scheduling, and issue resolution.
In addition, Gustavo had a tenure at Siemens from November 1994 to December 1999. Gustavo served as a Senior Product Line Manager in the Wireless Business Unit and was responsible for the Siemens PCS1900 base station family. Gustavo also worked as a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff in Wireless Systems Engineering, where they were the technical and project manager for the Siemens' PCS1900 microBTS product.
