Ryan Song

Ryan Song began their work experience in 2007 as an intern at Evolution Robotics. In 2010, they worked as a Law Clerk at the Federal Defenders of NYC Inc. In 2011, they served as a Summer Associate at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP. From 2012 to 2016, Ryan worked at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP as an Associate in M&A, advising private equity funds and public companies in M&A transactions, as well as providing counsel on borrowing and banking matters. In 2016, they joined Ubiquiti Inc. as a Corporate Counsel, where they provided legal guidance to the executive team on manufacturing and supply chain operations and served as the lead product counsel for the R&D team. In 2019, Ryan became the Assistant General Counsel, Product and Commercial at Ubiquiti Inc., where they continued to provide legal counsel and assistance in corporate governance matters.

Ryan Song completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo between 2004 and 2009. Afterward, they attended Columbia Law School from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained their Doctor of Law (JD) degree.
