Cheng-Fang Tsai

Cheng-fang Tsai has a varied work experience spanning several years. They started their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at National Taiwan University, where they collected and organized research materials, served as an interpreter and translator for foreign professors, and assisted in managing research reimbursement.

After that, Tsai joined Wallace Academic Editing as an In-house Translator, where they translated academic papers and collaborated with the Editing and Proofreading departments to ensure excellent translation quality.

Tsai then moved on to Synology, where they held the roles of Technical Writer and later Senior Technical Writer. In these roles, they wrote, edited, and translated technical documents, including UI strings, help articles, tutorials, FAQs, release notes, user guides, and white papers. They also took on responsibilities such as recruiting and training new team members and proofreading documents written by colleagues.

Currently, Tsai is working at Ubiquiti Inc. as a Technical Support Specialist. Their responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries and troubleshooting technical issues using Zendesk, producing high-quality technical and marketing documentation for IDaaS solutions, and collaborating with UI/UX designers to ensure visually engaging and user-friendly UI/UX strings.

Cheng-fang Tsai's education history is as follows:

Cheng-fang Tsai obtained a Master's degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures from National Taiwan University in the years 2011 to 2014. Later in 2016, Cheng-fang Tsai pursued a Post Master's Degree in the International Marketing Program at the International Trade Institute, TAITRA. Prior to that, Cheng-fang Tsai completed a Bachelor's degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures from National Chung Hsing University between 2006 and 2010.

Additionally, Cheng-fang Tsai has received several certifications. In 2022, Cheng-fang Tsai obtained the Google IT Support certification from Google. In 2021, Cheng-fang Tsai attained the Visual Elements of User Interface Design certification from the California Institute of the Arts. In 2020, Cheng-fang Tsai completed the Elements of AI certification from the University of Helsinki and the Fundamentals of Digital Marketing certification from Google. In 2015, Cheng-fang Tsai participated in the Chinese–English Simultaneous Interpreter Training Course and the Chinese–English Consecutive Interpreter Training Course offered by the China Productivity Center. In the same year, Cheng-fang Tsai also completed the Chinese–English Advanced Translation Training Course, the Chinese–English Sight Interpretation Training Course, and the Training Program in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language from National Taiwan Normal University.
