Hsuan-Yu Chen

Hsuan-Yu Chen's work experience includes working as an Embedded Firmware Engineer at Ubiquiti Inc. since March 2021. Previously, they worked at Calcomp Electronics Public Co. Limited from April 2008 to March 2021, where they held the role of Researcher. During this time, they gained 12+ years of experience in bring-up based on various chip solutions and 12+ years in embedded Linux kernel and software development. Hsuan-Yu also had 8+ years of managing experience leading a FW team and worked closely with HW to address design requirements and debug issues. Additionally, they have experience in porting device drivers and is proficient in using the BCM chip solution in STB. Hsuan-Yu has also worked with engineers from the U.S. and Japan.

Hsuan-Yu Chen earned a Master's degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from Fu Jen Catholic University, completing the program between 2005 and 2007.
