Roman Yeryomin has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Roman started their career at Mikrotik in 2003 as a Network Engineer and worked there until 2006. Roman then joined Datagrupa.LV as a VoIP Engineer from 2006 to 2007. Roman worked as a Chief VoIP Engineer at Telecentrs from 2007 to 2009, where they developed and maintained telephony core networks and servers. After that, they joined SAF Tehnika JSC as a Linux Software Engineer from 2010 to 2013. Roman also worked as a Researcher and Lecturer at Riga Technical University from 2005 onwards. Roman joined Ubiquiti Networks in 2014 as a Linux Software Engineer.

Roman Yeryomin attended Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte (Riga Technical University) from 1999 to 2012, where they pursued a degree in Telematics. Roman successfully completed their studies and earned a Dr.sc.ing. degree.
