Aly Osman

Aly Osman has extensive work experience in various roles related to ethics, risk management, and compliance. Starting in 2000 at the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, Aly served as the Joint Director and Head of Stock Exchanges Wing. In 2006, Aly moved to JS Investments Limited, where they held the position of Chief Compliance and Risk Officer. From 2007 to 2010, Aly worked at UBL Fund Managers as the Head of Risk Management, Product Development, and Compliance. In 2011, Aly took on the role of Head of Internal Audit and Company Secretary at UBL Fund Managers. Aly joined Telenor as the Director of Ethics and Compliance in 2016. Lastly, Aly is currently working at HBL - Habib Bank Limited as the Ethics and Conduct Officer/General Manager/Head of Ethics and Conduct Department, a position they have held since December 2019.

Aly Osman received a degree in Management Accountant (ACMA) from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMA Pakistan) in 1998. They also obtained a certification as a Certified Director from ICAP / Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, although the specific dates are not provided. Additionally, Aly completed the Strategy Execution Program (Digital Transformation) at INSEAD. They have obtained various certifications from LinkedIn, mainly focused on leadership, communication, and strategic skills.
